GETTING HERE
Commongrounds Cooperative is located at 414 East Eighth Street, in the heart of Traverse City (Google Maps).
PUBLIC TRANSIT - The closest BATA bus stop is 8th and Wellington, which is less than a 1 minute walk to Commongrounds!
WALKING & BIKING - We are just a short walk from downtown, and just steps off the Boardman Lake TART Trail. You’ll find a set of bike racks in front of the building and a large bank of bike racks in our parking garage.
ONSITE PARKING - Commongrounds has 16 metered parking spaces (2 ADA spaces) located at the west entrance and below the building in the parking garage. The parking garage has direct access to the elevator and stairway. You can pay in 3 hour increments with coins, or via the ParkMobile app. Parking is free after 6pm and all day on Sundays.
GOVERNMENTAL CENTER PARKING LOT - Located across Eighth street on Boardman Avenue, this lot is free after 4PM on weekdays and free all day on the weekends. Kitty-corner from Commongrounds, with a conveniently-placed crosswalk!
OTHER PARKING OPTIONS - There are various parallel parking options on nearby side streets, and both paid parking garages in Traverse City (free on Sundays and after 6pm every day) are .3 miles from Commongrounds, about a 5-10 minute walk.

RAMPS & ELEVATOR - You’ll find ramps at both our front and west entrances. A central elevator is accessible from all floors, including the parking garage.
ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS - All commercial floors offer gender neutral, ADA-compliant restrooms with wall-mounted changing tables.
NURSING ROOM - A calm, private space available for lactation/chestfeeding and/or meditation/mindfulness practice. Keycode available at reception.
